YES, BUT DID SHE EVER JUDGE A HORSE SHOW?
President Bush has announced "insider" Harriet Miers as his pick for the last remaining Supreme Court judgeship. Miers seems qualified enough, at least by Bush standards. For one, she's never been a judge. For two, she's from Texas. For three, she thinks Bush is "the most brilliant man she has ever met." And for four, she's been covering his ass for more than a decade. Wow, Bush's 'cleaner' on the high court? Sure seems convenient just in case any, oh, I don't know, executive office indictments or other such nonsense should arise.

Wonkette thoroughly dissects Bush's "pit bull in size 6 shoes," uncovering her odd penchant for birthday efficiency and this lovely quote with regard to her service under Bush chief-of-staff Andy Card and Bush himself:
"She failed in Card's office for two reasons," the official says. "First, because she can't make a decision, and second, because she can't delegate, she can't let anything go. And having failed for those two reasons, they move her to be the counsel for the president, which requires exactly those two talents."
And we didn't even have to go to HorsesAss.org to find that out. Bravo!

Comments:
Well this certainly clears up a lot of rumor and innuendo. Now I get it. Until I read the 2004 article I was not really sure how this plot had been put in place a long time ago. This is so transparent that it is beyond laughable.
